Dr. Levendovics, Renáta
assistant professorRenáta Levendovics earned her BSc degree in Molecular bionics engineering and MSc degree in Info-bionics engineering from the University of Szeged in 2014 and 2017, respectively. She joined the Antal Bejczy Center for Intelligent Robotics in 2015. In 2017, she continued her studies as a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Applied Informatics and Applied Mathematics at Óbuda University. Her research focused on surgical robotics and surgical skill assessment, and as a PhD student, she participated in R&D projects as well. Between 2018 and 2022, she was a scholarship holder in the New National Excellence Programme. She received her PhD degree in 2023. Since 2021, she has been working as an assistant lecturer, and from 2024, as an assistant professor at the Biomatics and Applied Artificial Intelligence Institute at the John von Neumann Faculty of Informatics, where she teaches computer vision in healthcare, data science, and medical robotics. Since 2023, she has also been working as a researcher at the Austrian Center for Medical Innovation and Technology (ACMIT), focusing on surgical data science.
