Károly, István Artúr

Artúr I. Károly received a B.Sc. degree in mechatronic engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Budapest, Hungary, in 2016 and an M.Sc. degree in mechatronic engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Budapest, Hungary, in 2018. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2024 in the field of deep learning in robotics in the Doctoral School of Applied Informatics and Applied Mathematics at Obuda University, Budapest, Hungary, and Antal Bejczy Center for Intelligent Robotics at Obuda University, Budapest, Hungary. He spent a year of internship in Tokyo, Japan, from September 2019 to September 2020, with the help of the Vulcanus in Japan internship program, during which he worked as a robotics research intern at OMRON SINIC X Corp. for eight months. His research interest includes the development of new deep learning methods and the study of their functioning principles, enhancing neural networks via other machine learning approaches and unsupervised learning techniques, and realizing general knowledge representation with the help of synthetic data for domain adaptation.
