Dr. Levendovics, Tamás

Tamas Levendovics received his BSc degree in Molecular Bionics in 2014 and his MSc degree in Computer Engineering in 2016, both from the University of Szeged. During his studies, he joined the Noise and Nonlinearity Research Group, where he worked on physiological measurements, signal processing, and their telemedical applications.


In 2016, he began his doctoral studies at the Antal Bejczy Center for Intelligent Robotics at Óbuda University, where he defended his PhD dissertation in 2025 on the analysis of motion patterns and low-level automation in robot-assisted surgery.


He is currently an assistant professor at the John von Neumann Faculty of Informatics, Óbuda University, and conducts his research at the Antal Bejczy Center for Intelligent Robotics. His research focuses on the automation of surgical subtasks and the analysis of surgical workflows using machine learning methods. He also collaborates with the Austrian Center for Medical Innovation and Technology (ACMIT).
