Researchers’ Night at the Antal Bejczy Center for Intelligent Robotics, Obuda University

This year, the Bejczy Antal iRobotics Center at Óbuda University once again opened its doors for Researchers’ Night. Visitors of all ages arrived in groups to explore the laboratory. The program began with a short 15-minute presentation introducing the center’s research areas and ongoing projects. Afterwards, guests had the chance to see various robotic systems and developments up close. The demonstrations of surgical robots and industrial robotic arms were especially popular, presented in an interactive format by the researchers. For children, the opportunity to try some of the devices themselves was a real highlight. The aim of the event was to bring robotics closer to the general public and show how science is becoming part of everyday life. The staff of the center also enjoyed meeting the visitors face-to-face. Some attendees even expressed interest in returning—whether as future students or potential collaborators. Overall, the event provided a great opportunity to promote science and inspire the next generation.
