Kindergarten Group in BARK

The youngest visitors spent a truly special day at the BARK Laboratory, where a group of kindergarteners had the chance to experience the technology of the future up close.

The children didn’t just watch – they interacted with, controlled, and even “made friends” with various types of robots, from humanoid social robots to augmented reality systems and advanced robotic surgery equipment.

During the program, they met the popular Nao and CruzR social robots, engaging in different forms of human-machine interaction – talking, dancing, and exploring playful communication. One of the highlights was the Unitree Go 2 quadruped mobile robot, or “robot dog,” which the kids could control themselves and even high-five. The excitement continued as they tried their hands at robotic surgery using the da Vinci Surgical System, stepping into the shoes of real surgeons and learning about cutting-edge medical technology. They also had the chance to explore the world of augmented reality (AR) through the HoloLens 2 headset.

The day ended with a fun pizza session, during which every enthusiastic visitor drew their favorite robot and explained why they liked it the most. Through their drawings, we got a glimpse of how the youngest generation imagines future technologies – and we are sure that among them are many future engineers and researchers already in the making.
