European Robotics Forum

The fifth edition of European Robotics forum took place in Rovereto, Italy 12-14 March 2014, hosted by the Rovereto Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. More than 450 researchers, engineers, managers and a growing number of entrepreneurs and business people from all over Europe came together. They discussed topics and contents which also have an immediate impact on the roadmapping process for Robotics in Europe.

IEEE 12th International Symposium on Applied Machine Intelligence and Informatics

The 12th International Symposium on Applied Machine Intelligence and Informatics (SAMI) took place at Herl’any, Slovakia January 23-25. The event was organized by the Technical University of Kosice and Óbuda University, hosted by the Guest House of the Slovakian university. 

euRobotics week

The first open day took place on November 28 at the Antal Bejcy Center for Intelligent Robotics as a part of the Hungarian program of euRobotics Week. The aim of the open day was to officially open the doors of the institution for the public.

Summary of the 11th SISY conference

The 11th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY) took place in Subotica, Serbia September 26-28. The event was organized by the Subotica Tech, University of Novi Sad and Óbuda University, hosted by three locations, welcoming participants from 7 countries. This year’s SISY conference was dedicated to the memory of the well–known Serbian robotics expert and professor, Miomir Vukobratović.

Summary of the 9th ICCC conference

The IEEE International Conference on Computational Cybernetics returned to the Balaton after-  years. The conference took place in Tihany, Hungary, organized by Óbuda University July 8-10. Participants form 14 countries presented their works in 17 sections, altogether 49 oral presentations and 19 posters were shown during the three days of the conference. PhD students were also given the opportunity to speak about their current research in a special section organized for them.

Opening of the new Intelligent Robotics Center

The opening ceremony of the Antal Bejczy Center for Intelligent Robotics took place at Óbuda University 20. November. The event attracted numerous experts from the field of robotics from Hungary and abroad.
