On May 4th 2017, our University celebrated the International EKIK day, where the ceremonial formation of the International Scientific and Industrial Advisory Boards took place, and besides, the center’s research partners presented cutting edge research results.

Among the invitees were the university’s executives, lead researchers, professors and prominent students. The participants were first greeted by Prof. Dr. Imre Rudas, director of the EKIK steering committee, after which Dr. László Nádai, Vice-rector for Science and International Relations and Prof. Dr. József K. Tar EKIK director welcomed the audience. The addresses were followed by an introduction to the work of the University Research, Innovation and Service Center’s (EKIK) by Prof. Tar, followed by EKIK members’ research talks: Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács (ERC/BioPhys researchcenter), Dr. Péter Galambos (Antal Bejczy Center for Intelligent Robotics) and Dr. Miklós Kozlovszky (Biotech research center). The program at the Kiscelli building was concluded with the ceremonial formation of the International Scientific Advisory Board and the International Industrial Advisory Board, both staffed with renowned international experts of their field. During the afternoon, the program continued in the University’s central building with a workshop on the Recent Advances on Intelligent Engineering Systems.
